HAPPY FIRST ANNIVERSARY TO MY BLOG! :)

it's been a year since i made my very first post! how fast time flies?! i can still remember how and why i started blogging.. but just a few days ago, i almost deleted my blog because i got tired of finding a solution regarding my problems with my blog url and email (connected to my blog.) thank god, i found a solution and.. tadaaaah!!! my blog's still alive and i'm still here making this post! :)

if you're wondering why i'm not having any giveaways just like what other bloggers usually do every time their blogs turn a year older, its because i'm broke! hahaha! maybe a year or years from now, when i won't be asking money from my parents anymore/ i have my own income and i can do anything i want, i'll try doing it. :p for now, all i can do is say THANK YOU (with hugs and kisses!) for following/visiting/reading my blog! xoxo

peace, love and watches

yes, I DO LOVE WATCHES. i can still remember i cried over a watch when i was, i think, 7 or 8 years old (i'm not really sure.) it was the time when i saw a watch that has a shape like a tamagotchi. i really like to have it because i find it very cute but my mom said i already have enough watches and that's the time i started crying. my parents have no choice but to give in and buy me the tamagotchi-shaped watch! how silly i was back then. hahaha!

now, i don't really own a lot of watches compared to other people. i also stopped asking. (lol!) i don't own very expensive watches. three of my watches (the big, round watches above; brown-strapped, black-strapped and gold) are from my dad. when he wore the black-strapped watch for the first time, i eyed it for a while and asked it from him a few moments after. same goes to the brown-strapped watch. the golden one, i didn't specifically asked for it. he just gave it to me when i asked for a golden watch. its an automatic Ricoh watch which he had 20 years ago! i really love it even though it needs a little repair. the other two that i already mentioned above are both Timex watches. as for my other watches, they have different brands: timex, citizen, limit, next, pulse.

right now, buying watches (or should i say, asking from my parents) is not my priority, but i don't mind being given these watches..

last thursday was my dad's birthday (HAPPY BIRHTDAY!!!) it was also bruno mars' first concert here in Cebu, Philippines at the Waterfront Hotel, Lahug.

morning of that day, i had my duty in ICU. i hurriedly went home after my shift so that i can start and finish my requirements (which i thought was due the next day!) at around 6pm, we headed to the hotel. all we ate along the way was snickers chocolate which my friend, Hannah, bought for us (thaaaaaanks han!) at exactly 8pm, Michael Copon (Felix Taggaro from OTH, remember him?!) opened the show and sang, more or less, 5 songs. we waited almost an hour after Copon finished performing before Bruno Mars' went on stage.. but the waiting was worth it. people became lively and ecstatic when he went on stage even the lights were still out. when the lights were turned on, he started playing the drums and people begun shouting. he sang a couple of songs like: Other Side, Billionaire, The Lazy Song, Marry You, Billy Jean, Liquor Store Blues, Count On Me, Grenade, and Just The Way You Are. after he sang his supposedly last song (just the way you are) and after he and his band went backstage, the fans kept on shouting ''ONE MORE!''.. he gave in and sang Runaway Baby! oh yea, they sang and danced! he also said he was a proud filipino and he promised that he'll be back pretty sooooon!

after the concert, we went to Hebrews to eat and drink and drink and drink a lot of water! as you can see in the picture above, i bought my requirements so that i can finish it.. HARDWORKING student, eh? :)

P.S. bruno mars was way hotter and cooler on stage! hahahaha!

apologies

sorry for the lack of post.

i've been really busy with schoolworks these past few weeks! i can't seem to find a time to blog and i didn't also think that much of what i'm going to blog. same goes to my tumblr, lookbook and my other blog. it's like my fondness for blogging faded when my mind was pretty much preoccupied with school requirements, projects, assignments, exams and finding what i really want or what i want to do with my life.

it hasn't been long since our final exams ended (its been 3 days since it ended.) all i did in those 3 days was: spend some time with my family, watched some movies and read some books (5 movies, 3 books.) it's just one of the few ways i cope with stress aside from blogging (which i didn't feel like doing for the past 3 weeks but i'm sure i'll be back to my old routine as soon as i'm free from school stuffs.. because i still have a duty and a design hearing for our research study to think about.)

on the brighter side, our Garland Ceremony is going to be on friday (it's like a prom but not really a prom. haha!) and my dad just picked up my dress from the dry cleaning shop this morning. here's a sneak peek of what i'm going to wear..

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

so this is what i wore last 12/25/10..

i went to church with my family on christmas day (morning). we celebrated christmas with my dad and mom's relatives: christmas eve, with my mom's side while christmas day itself, with my dad's side.
