just another random post. i'm inspired. just because.
the Preview Magazine.
one of my favorite Preview issues is probably the January/February issue. it is packed with a lot of ideas and inspirations, from fashion to beauty to music, in almost every page! plus, one of the greatest stylists in the Philippines on the cover will surely pump up your curiosity!
..but their august 2009 issue will probably remain the most memorable for me because it is where i first got interested with fashion blogging (from real + inspirational people) that eventually became my favorite hobby.
thinking about it now, i thank myself for being so bored that day and for taking extra attention on that certain page! :)
(fact: sometimes i'm shy/bold/unpredictable/insecure/confident/vulnerable/straightforward/all at once.)
today's Saturday! we actually have classes today (bummer!) but i'm effin' tired to step out of our house. ha! so before i go to school for my next class (which is approximately 4 hours from now), i'll take time to make a post about something out of the blue. here it goes..
fact: this blog is not really my personal personal blog (i mean, the private kind.) its not that the posts i made were not about who i really am. in fact, its really about my life, my interests, about me, or should i say: the superficial me that doesn't involve any strong emotions.
fact: if none of the people i know personally have known about this blog, i wouldn't mind blabbing everything i feel in here and i wouldn't have created another blog (where no one really knows me) just for my rants/blabs.
fact: because i know strangers won't read too long posts, but if they do, i know they won't mind whatever i'll post, and if they do mind, its not a big deal hearing what strangers have to say about me.. they're just strangers that i don't have any attachments with and the only thing thay can do is cyber slap me if they don't like or if they are so fed up with my rantsposts.
fact: if i'll be talking about convenience + privacy, i doubt a person or two have dropped by on that blog. btw, if its still not obvious, i manage that blog anonymously.
as what most bloggers say: blog to EXPRESS, not to impress. so starting from now on (actually i've already started weeks ago), i won't mind posting semi-personal posts, but i'll still keep my other blog in case some of my rants posts will be too personal for me to post it here. :)

..is one of my favorite songs from The Script's second album, Science and Faith (as if every song from S&F is not my favorite. HA!) if you've only seen my face when i first heard this song.. i was smiling like CRAZY! hahahaha! GREAT SONG + GREAT BAND = PERFECTION.
looking back months ago, i realized this song (and 15 others!) is/are nostalgic; reminds me of how i spent my last months in 2010. how could it not remind me if i murdered my repeat button for almost two months?! IT'S OFFICIALLY THE FIRST DAY OF MY SUMMER VACATION! (YAHOOOO!)
our duty just ended last night at exactly 8pm and now, i'm on my bed, blogging and listening to music with speakers in full volume which reminds me of my christmas vacation last year: everyday, i only listened to 16 songs (11/all songs from the script's science and faith album, satellite by B.o.B, christmas lights by coldplay, shake up christmas by train, coming home by diddy-dirty money ft. skylar gray, and.. i forgot the other one. hehe.)
okay, i lied.. because i did listen to other songs and 'everyday' is an exaggerated word to use, but those are the songs i remembered that i always play on repeat at that time.
today, i'm listening to all my songs in my iTunes library randomly because i have/want nothing specific to listen to just like what i want my summer to be like: RANDOM AND FUN!
i'll just leave you a song that's kinda perfect for a summer vacation! hahaha!
i just want to share Jessie J's new music video: NOBODY'S PERFECT. its one of my favorite songs from her new and first album, WHO YOU ARE. when i first saw the video, i was amazed because i didn't expect it to be bold and exaggerated; i was expecting it to look simple.. but what was i thinking? IT'S JESSIE J! hahaha! i didn't say the video's not good, in fact, i find it cool.
..and yea, i can totally relate to this song (that's why it's one of my fave!) i think most of us do, maybe not every line of it, but the song in general.
last thursday was my dad's birthday (HAPPY BIRHTDAY!!!) it was also bruno mars' first concert here in Cebu, Philippines at the Waterfront Hotel, Lahug.
morning of that day, i had my duty in ICU. i hurriedly went home after my shift so that i can start and finish my requirements (which i thought was due the next day!) at around 6pm, we headed to the hotel. all we ate along the way was snickers chocolate which my friend, Hannah, bought for us (thaaaaaanks han!) at exactly 8pm, Michael Copon (Felix Taggaro from OTH, remember him?!) opened the show and sang, more or less, 5 songs. we waited almost an hour after Copon finished performing before Bruno Mars' went on stage.. but the waiting was worth it. people became lively and ecstatic when he went on stage even the lights were still out. when the lights were turned on, he started playing the drums and people begun shouting. he sang a couple of songs like: Other Side, Billionaire, The Lazy Song, Marry You, Billy Jean, Liquor Store Blues, Count On Me, Grenade, and Just The Way You Are. after he sang his supposedly last song (just the way you are) and after he and his band went backstage, the fans kept on shouting ''ONE MORE!''.. he gave in and sang Runaway Baby! oh yea, they sang and danced! he also said he was a proud filipino and he promised that he'll be back pretty sooooon!
after the concert, we went to Hebrews to eat and drink and drink and drink a lot of water! as you can see in the picture above, i bought my requirements so that i can finish it.. HARDWORKING student, eh? :)
P.S. bruno mars was way hotter and cooler on stage! hahahaha!
